17- Now it was time to paint the lighting and shadows. It was crucial that the lighting and shadows looked real, at least to some degree. I knew the main light source was coming from the sun in the sun in the back, but I didn't want to make the picture look to realistic by making everything in front have a dark silhouette, so I decided that the shadows would be less dark and that the whole picture would have a surreal feel to it.
